My friend Bodie Stroud builds all kinds of slick stuff. I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the 494 body on frame '69 Mustang...it's been in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , featured in the highly acclaimed " !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! " doc, and shown on most illustrious auto blogs !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .(as an aside, I read through a few comments on the latter. I think it's funny that someone asked "Did you all miss the Martini Mustang?" One of these cars did *influence* the other one...and the commentator has it backwards)
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
But I felt this deserved another post because that time lapse video is really cool. And there's a gallery on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from this project. The finished product is nuts, and the work that went into it is incredible. The destination may be the shit, but sometimes the journey there is just as rad.
Bodie has a couple of cars that are gonna be at SEMA this year....actually a car and a truck( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ). I can't wait to see Tim Allen's COPO inspired '68 Camaro up close. Bodie did an outstanding job on the body work; what at first glance looks like a pretty stock car is actually heavily modified, but the proportions are still perfect. I happened to see the shell coming back from the media blaster when I was visiting the shop last fall, it'll be cool to see it all buttoned up.
